The group meets monthly at 10:00am on the first Friday of the month in Grange Institute. We use the normal TV rules, except for the method of scoring – ours is less draconian – each word submitted scores the number of letters used, so at the end of the session each participant has a fairly healthy score! Once a year we have semi-finals and a final and the treasured ‘Countdown Final’ teapot is awarded to the winner.
